Fun Day and Information sharing in Kirkcowan.
Come along to St Couan’s Hall on Saturday afternoon and find out what’s happening in the village.
Stalls, run by local groups, will include:
Arts & Crafts
Cake & Candy
Primary School’s 150th Anniversary Display
Information about Community Council, Healthy Living, Adult Learning, Youth Work, Bible Study, etc
Barbeque, Face Painting, Wii … and more.
Refreshments.

Letter from Olive Caldwell Headteacher:
I am the headteacher of Kirkcowan School. In May 2012, the school will celebrate 150 years. A number of events have been planned to celebrate the event:
Tea Dance Saturday 12 May 2.00pm - 4.30pm Adult £3 Child £1
St Couan’s Hall Kirkcowan
Time Capsule Ceremony Friday 18 May - due to limited capacity this event is by invitation only

Ceilidh Saturday 26 May 7.00pm - 11.00pm Adult £5 Child £2

John McQuaker

Just heard the news of John McQuaker’s death. John was born in Kirkcowan in 1933 ad was a well known resident. Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
